The concept of “ashram” was best explained to me by my beloved Spiritual Master Shri KrsnaGuruji (KrsnaKnows). He stated simply that foremost an ashram is a place of refuge.
One should take refuge from the material worldly life and turn one’s attention to knowing the Self—the Spirit. Take refuge at the time in life when one asks the questions of “who and what am I?” Take refuge in the company of holy people. One should take time to sit in solitude.
One Grace Ashram is offered as such a respite where one might move closer to the divine. This is Her beginning being shared with you.
Each being is on its own trajectory based on many factors. Each has arrived at this one place, yet each has arrived at a different stage of the Spiritual journey. Your beliefs and experience may differ from the one standing next to you and it does not matter. All are seeking the same goal.
My Gurudev has taught me a Spiritual path that is open to all. It is the path of Love and Devotion to the One. Whether that One is called God, Father in Heaven, Shri Krsna, Allah, Supreme Divine Consciousness, and so on; it is the path of Love and Devotion that brings you to true Yoga (union with God).
